How should we act?

There was a statement in my “Wesley Study Bible Notes” that really spoke to me today. It is under the “Life Application” topic “Witnessing,” it says: “There are many ‘false teachers’ who teach a gospel of self rather than sacrificial servanthood. God will judge the selfrighteous, the self-serving, and the self-indulgent. Every Christian must ask the question, ‘Am I seeking a Jesus of my own making who serves me or the true Jesus who serves the world throughme?’ We are slaves to whatever masters us (v. 19). Who or what is your master?”
